Bible Studies with Ken Needham
Ken Needham of TransMission Ministries will be speaking at Cherry Grove the week of January 22-25, 2012. Ken is an internationally loved speaker who brings insight and inspiration to scripture.
Ken will be speaking during the worship service on Sunday, January 22 and again later that night at 6:00pm following a potluck.

Movie Night!
Commemorating Peace Month, we will be showing “The War” starring Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood. Costner plays a Vietnam War vet who must deal with a war of a different sort between his son and their friends, and a rival group of children. He also must deal with his own personal and employment problems that have resulted from his Vietnam experiences. Join us at 7:00pm on Friday, February 3. Please feel free to bring snacks!
ZUMBA!!
Interested in getting some exercise in a fun, friendly, upbeat setting? Join us in the Friendship Center (portable building behind the church) on Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm with certified Zumba instructor Nancy W. All are welcome and it’s free!! JOY Women’s Bible Study
All women are invited to join us for a study of Acts: Seeing God’s Power in Action. The weekly study meets Tuesdays in the Friendship Center from 9:30am to 11:30am. The study begins January 2012. Please plan to join us!
Teen Group!
All junior and senior high schoolers (Grades 6-12) are encouraged to join our study of Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations by Alex and Brett Harris. The group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30pm at Arden and Janet’s home. Dinner is included! Please bring yourself, your Bible, and a friend. Unprogrammed/Open Worship
Join us in this Friends tradition of sitting together in silence to focus on our personal relationship with God. Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Friendship Center (portable building behind the church). All are welcome and encouraged to bring a listening heart.
Cherry Grove Mom’s Group!
Mothers of pre-schoolers are invitied to join other moms and their kids for Bible Study, outings, get-togethers, and play time. The group meets weekly on Fridays at 12:30pm. For more information and/or to get on the email list, please contact the church office.
